STEM Fuse, a premium provider of STEM curricula in the United States, has partnered with Precision Exams to offer industry certification alongside their middle and high school semester-length courses. Students in grades 7-12 will have the ability to earn industry credentials after completing STEM Fuse courses, including GAME:IT Junior and GAME:IT. Further course alignment will allow students to take additional exams in the areas of computer science, web development, programming languages, game design, and entrepreneurship.
“We are so excited to be offering this opportunity to our STEM Fuse teachers and students! Our partnership with Precision Exams will continue to further our mission of creating a worthwhile learning pipeline from ‘classroom to career’ for our students,” said Alexandra Brown, the director of STEM Curriculum. “The various industries within STEM are looking for a particular set of knowledge and skills. With the addition of Precision Exams and their industry partners, we’re addressing the age-old question: Why are we learning this?”
STEM Fuse will offer full semester course materials that prepare students for the industry exam from Precision Exams. This partnership combines interactive, project-based STEM curriculum with industry-driven certifications to seamlessly transition classroom teachings to real world applications.
"We are very excited about this partnership with STEM Fuse," said Coray Christensen, president of Precision Exams. "This partnership is making it easier for students to get a jumpstart in life. We are laying the foundation for our future workforce. The more resources we can provide that allow industry to connect with and know what our students are capable of, opens the door to opportunity for students and employers alike."
