Tribal Health, the leader in healthcare solutions for the underserved, is launching a new STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) digital education program free of charge for its Native American service communities. The program partners with STEM Fuse, a digital K-12 curriculum provider specializing in STEM, computer science, and CTE curriculum solutions, using their digital learning management system and curriculum delivery platform Educate to help Native American students successfully prepare for STEM careers. Currently Native professionals are underrepresented in STEM fields such as healthcare, engineering, and technology.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Minnesota is partnering with STEM Fuse, a STEM-focused curriculum provider, to bring "Career Highways," an AI-Powered Career Development platform to students. Helping students showcase their skills and explore opportunities within STEM and CTE (career tech) pathways.

STEM Fuse Offers FREE curriculum to High School Teachers through a partnership with Full Sail University—200 schools in the southeast U.S. will receive two years of free access to digital curriculum materials from STEM Fuse, as well as professional development for teachers. 

Leaping Harts, Inc., the parent company of Kiddie Kredit, a preteen product aimed at teaching kids about credit, has partnered with STEM Fuse to make Kiddie Kredit’s courses on financial literacy, in particular credit, available to STEM Fuse’s platform of over 15,000 schools.

STEM Fuse is proud to support future health professionals in Minnesota by providing free Introduction to Health Science and Careers to affiliated MN HOSA chapters.

MN HOSA is a student-led organization for students in 6th grade - college who are interested in learning more about the healthcare profession. Through leadership activities, hands-on learning, volunteer and community service and innovative competitive events, MN HOSA members become better prepared for college & career. 

The aim is to build communities between students and provide a space to learn, grow and develop the skills they need to enter the ever-changing field of health care.

MN HOSA State Advisor, Summer Hagy, is excited to be working alongside STEM Fuse to introduce youth to potential career pathways and educational opportunities.

Vanta Leagues, the premier youth esports organization in the United States is partnering with STEM Fuse to provide coaching resources and esports league information to schools across the US.

Essentia Health is bringing health science curriculum to 25 high schools across our service area to increase student awareness of health care careers and prepare students for post-secondary health care programs. In collaboration with Minnesota HOSA and STEM Fuse, Essentia will work with schools to create HOSA student chapter organizations and provide students career-exploration opportunities in health care fields.

CentraCare, the Minnesota Health Occupation Students of America chapter, and STEM Fuse are creating a regional education network.

It will help inform students up to 12th grade about what it means to have a career in the broad healthcare field. CentraCare Workforce Development Program Manager Karl Nohner explains what each organization is bringing to the table.

“The Minnesota HOSA and STEM Fuse are doing great work to make sure that students have opportunities for exploration. Minnesota HOSA in co-curricular student activity and advising and then STEM Fuse providing some free opportunities for schools that would like it to have access to some of their health science curriculum.”

Nohner says CentraCare will look to connect students who know what specific occupation they’re interested in with professionals already working in the healthcare system. That would give the students opportunities for a more immersive experience to better understand the demands of their future field of work.

SquadLocker, the leading custom apparel, and gear software and fulfillment company, has partnered with STEM Fuse, a digital K-12 curriculum provider specializing in STEM, computer science, and CTE curriculum solutions, to deliver esports curriculum and player jerseys to schools across America.

The IT COE is expanding its program offering in partnership with STEM Fuse. In Fall 2022, IT COE and STEM Fuse will offer a free lifetime digital portfolio, advanced career development curriculum, and a work-based learning system for students to explore current and future job and academic opportunities. We are partnering with STEM Fuse to provide Career Highways digital portfolio to all students in the state.

Cummins Inc. is partnering with STEM Fuse, a STEM-focused curriculum provider, to bring "Career Highways" to Universal Technical Institute (UTI)-Avondale students. The partnership will help students showcase their skills and explore opportunities with Cummins.

We couldn’t be more pleased to be partnering with Cummins to enable their industry-leading training programs,” said Carter Tatge, CEO of STEM Fuse.

“Talk about making science relevant – all students eat,” said Doug Sombke, president of Farmers Union Enterprises and South Dakota Farmers Union. “We are excited to share this curriculum which integrates STEM-based information into interactive units about agriculture and where food comes from with educators and students throughout the nation.” 

The curriculum is a joint effort between five Farmers Union state organizations (Minnesota, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin), which comprise Farmers Union Enterprises, based in Redwood Falls, Minn. Farmers Union Enterprises partnered with the design group, STEM Fuse to produce and distribute the curriculum.

“Collaborating with the Farmers Union Enterprises team, we designed the curriculum to easily integrate ag-based STEM education in any unit teachers are focusing on,” explained Carter Tatge, founder and CEO of STEM Fuse. “You don’t need a STEM background or an agriculture background to provide STEM:IT AG to students. In fact, the curriculum requires little guidance from educators.” 

Full Sail University has partnered with STEM Fuse to equip a total of 200 middle and high schools throughout Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and most Florida counties with curriculum to provide specialized learning opportunities in STEM, computer science and more.

Educators will have the capabilities to curate STEM and computer science curriculum such as content, assignments, quizzes, and more to their classroom. To ensure a streamlined platform onboarding, STEM Fuse provides training and staff development offerings to each school gifted with the 24-month license.

Digital K–12 curriculum provider STEM Fuse and game and animation developer Construct have released the latest in a series of career and technical education curricula: GAME:IT Advanced, which is recommended for grades 10–12 and uses the Construct 3 platform to teach coding through game design.

The GAME:IT series teaches computer, programming, and game development skills from elementary through high school. The ready-made, intuitive curricula are designed for those with no coding experience, so teachers without prior experience can assist their students. GAME:IT Advanced also offers students the opportunity to take an industry certification course upon completion, with the GAME:IT Intermediate course recommended prior.

With the STEM workforce in need of a boost, companies and legislators have tried various things to infuse more STEM-based learning in both K-12 and higher education. Iowa’s STEM Advisory Council doled out grants to create curriculum in fields that need to be filled with workers, and North Carolina’s governor declared April as STEM Month to create awareness of the need, among other efforts. In a somewhat less conventional effort, a STEM curriculum provider last month used web-based game-building software to develop a new high school curriculum for game design and programming.
