Carter Tatge, Founder
Carter Tatge founded STEM Fuse, LLC, in 2011. Prior to that Carter had been working as an Admissions Manager for an HLC Regionally accredited college in Minnesota with one of the goals being to work with Minnesota high schools to promote technology & STEM education. During this work it became clear that attracting and motivating students to explore technology based courses within their high schools was a problem.
So along with the help and input of several high school and middle school teachers an idea was born. Attractive, hands-on and affordable (HAS TO BE AFFORDABLE!) technology & STEM courses needed to be built. STEM Fuse would build them! Carter had been an entrepreneur in the past and decided to take the plunge… STEM Fuse became a reality. Applying his previous experience, and college degree, in finance, sales and marketing that started in the banking industry in 1993, Carter has taken STEM Fuse from a “great idea” to a growing company that is delivering on it’s mission.
We will continue to deliver high quality, attractive, inspiring and AFFORDABLE courses that will introduce students to the unlimited possibilities that STEM offers in the 21st Century! Carter has three terrific children who keep him “plugged-in” and are the greatest kids in the world! Carter has also been blessed with two terrific dogs, Buster & Puckett, who put a smile on his face – you can always count on your dog being happy to see you when you walk in. Thanks so much for your interest in STEM Fuse, technology & STEM education. We look forward to being a part, along with our terrific teachers and schools, of the education of our next generation of students in the 21st Century!
