We are looking for professional and motivated Inside Sales Directors - ideally (not required) with experience in consulting and selling to the K-12 Edu market to work in our Twin Cities based office.  Most of our courses have a focus around STEM (science, technology, engineering & math) so a familiarity with today’s technology would be helpful.   This position will work with current and potential schools within a designated region to introduce our courses and services and increase adoption.   As most of your time will be spent “inside”, the ability to effectively communicate in a variety of mediums is extremely important.  A background in distance-training or sales via webinar would also be beneficial.

Responsibilities:

  • Remain knowledgeable on all courses, services, and products offered
  • Develop creative sales strategies/models and evaluate their effectiveness
  • Evaluate customers’ needs and build productive long lasting relationships
  • Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service to encourage annual renewals
  • Solicit feedback on company products and services
  • Cross sell products to current customers
  • Research current accounts to identify other teachers or administration within school or district for which to sell other courses
  • Identify and market to associations that could help promote our curricula to their membership
  • Meet personal and team sales targets
  • Prepare written quotes and presentations
  • Follow up on outstanding Review Accounts, Quotes and Purchase Orders
  • Perform effective online and in-person demos and trainings to prospective customers
  • Understand state education standards
  • Use Social Media outlets to raise awareness about STEM Fuse and our products (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.)

Ideal Candidate would possess:

  • Proven inside sales experience
  • Strong phone presence
  • Proficient with web presentation tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong listening and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
